IN SHORT ABOUT "PADMA SHRI SADASHIV NIMBALKAR GURUJI"
Padma Shri Sadashiv Prahlad Nimbalkar Guruji, was an Indian academic, author, Yoga guru and the founder of Yoga Vidya Niketan (YVN), a Mumbai-based Yoga institute, promoting the practice of Yoga. A former physical education instructor and a vice principal of a junior college, Nimbalkar practiced Yoga under renowned teacher, Swami Kuvalayananda, one of the pioneers of Yoga research and the founder of Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute. Yoga Vidya Niketan, the institute Nimbalkar founded, offers various courses such as Diploma in Yogic Science, Teachers Training Courses, Diploma in Yoga Therapy and Diploma in Natural Living and Naturopathy, for students and teachers.(Note - Ref. बस नाम ही काफि है.........देश का अनमोल 'रतन' टाटा जी.,लोकं म्हणतात, ' नाम में क्या रक्खा है |' पण नावातच सगळं काही आहे. डोक्यावर घेऊन मिरवावासा वाटणारा, देशाचा एक अनमोल असा ' दागिना '..... ना कुठल्या पुरस्कारांची गरज, ना कसला मोठेपणा मिळवण्यासाठी धडपड....स्वतःच स्वतःमध्ये एक पुरस्कार, भारताचा गर्व, भारताचा सन्मान, एक महान, चिरतरुण, शांत, संयमी व्यक्तिमत्त्व....आई वडीलांनंतर माणसात देव अनुभवल्याचा कदाचित पहिलाच अनुभव....अबाल-वृद्धांसाठी प्रेरणा, हुरूप....संपूर्णपणे देशाच्या विकासाचा विचार करणारी व्यक्ती....देशाच्या संरक्षणासाठी, विकासासाठी, प्रगतीसाठी सर्वस्व पणाला लावण्यासाठी सदैव तत्पर असलेलं दानशूर व्यक्तिमत्त्व..... एकच होते, एकच आहेत, एकच राहतील....
बोलावे तितके कमीच.... या व्यक्तिमत्त्वाबद्दल मी काही बोलणे, लिहिणे इतकी माझी योग्यता नाही... पण जे मनापासून वाटले ते व्यक्त करण्याचा प्रयत्न करतोय, माझ्या पहिल्या कलर पेन्सिल स्केच च्या रूपानें.. एक छोटासा प्रयत्न, एका छोट्या कलाकारांकडून. (चूकभूल क्षमा असावी)

"Sharad Rao"Saheb, who was associated with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), headed several unions including the Hind Mazdoor Sabha, the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply Trust (BEST) Workers’ Union and the Municipal Mazdoor Union. He also remained the leader of Mumbai Autorickshawsmen’s union.
“Sharad Rao"Saheb, was a very influential leader. His efficiency of work while working for the BEST union is still remembered. While managing to place his views, he also maintained cordial relations with everybody. We have lost a great leader.
